Wolfe Tone and the Irish Rebellion - Napoleon Podcast

Having followed Napoleon all the way to his final end, the Napoleon podcast has had an obvious problem with material ever since.

But despite the fact that they have done the whole life of the man himself they still come up with interesting subjects that are relevant enough from time to time.  The story of Wolf Tone's unsuccessful attempt to throw the British out of Ireland is one such, and they do a great job.  It is an episode which is fairly minor in the overall scheme of history but is intriguing.  What would have happened had he succeeded?

This is well worth a listen, though if you really are a hardcore Bonapartist, bear in mind he gets mentioned only in passsing.
